How It All Got Started?
Cotin Doll World was founded in 2003 by a crazed fan of BJDs. Cotin, our founder, had 15 BJD dolls at a time but no place for them. She wanted a place to display all of them and to share the excitement of collecting with other collectors. Our founder wanted to create a home for the dolls as well as a gathering place for other collectors and dolls. We started as a two story store that brings BJD fashion and accessories to collectors. Slowly, we became a brand name designing BJD doll accessories; specializing in doll wigs.

Our Philosophy
We vowed to create wide variations of doll accessories to fulfill collectors’ needs and preferences. Cotin Doll World is a strong believer of quality. Doll collecting is a commitment to the dolls; we want the dolls to wear quality wigs, clothes, and accessories. Our Philosophy is to bring the world of dolls to the world!

How We've Grown
Beginning of 2004, we launched our Chinese and Japanese Websites. We expanded to different areas of Asia: Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and more. With increasing demand of the doll, we started websites and created an international servicing network that bring our products to more collectors. We tightened up quality control, design, customer service and shipping services.

In 2005, we started providing our products on different auction sites such as Yahoo, Ebay and more. We also launched our English Website due to the increase in demand.

We have made appearances in shows and exhibitions around the world. We hope to meet more people and to share our excitement with the world.
